The United Islamic Association is a non-profit organization (501c3) incorporated in the state of Pennsylvania in 1988. In the year 1998, in the month of June, the organization began operating the first Masjid (Mosque) and Community Center for Muslims in Lancaster County at 739 West Vine St. The building was named the “Islamic Center” and has operated continuously since the OUR MISSION By charter, the United Islamic Association is devoted to providing education to both Muslims and non-Muslim, charity, and other social services for the betterment of the Muslim community within Lancaster County as well as non-Muslim residents of the same.
