In January 2018, a group of dedicated Muslims from the community made a commitment to establish a Masjid and community center for all people in the Western Nassau County area. In a few short months, a 1.4 acre property was secured in Roslyn, NY. This building was previously used to practice another faith. Situated in an ideal location, the center will serve the religious and communal needs of many residents of the area. The facility has undergone a complete renovation and has turned the 8,000 sq ft building into a beautiful and functional masjid for the community. After 1.5 years of construction and permit process, the building was opened a few days before Ramadan on April 9th 2021. We are focused on serving the community the best we can by the grace of Allah SWT.
