Islamic Association of Long Island (IALI) also known as Selden Masjid is located in middle of Suffolk County and serves the community in and around the Selden area. Islamic Association of Long Island was registered in 1974 and was the first Masjid (Mosque) in Suffolk County. In 1979 the actual building located at 10 Park Hill Drive in Selden was purchased and renovated it to be the Muslim Center for the local Muslim community to be used as Place-of-Worship. An adjacent land was purchased in 2003 and construction of a new building was completed in 2013 with other site improvements. Islamic Association provides various services including Religious services, marriage, funeral, Interfaith, educational, etc.
