Masjid Noor Ul Huda (MNH), a 501 (C3) Tax Exempt organization, is one of the oldest Masajid (mosques) serving the Muslim Community of Greater Columbia, South Carolina. MNH is well known for its friendly, open environment, upholding moderate Islamic values and serving humanity with love, mercy, care, and compassion. MNH ideology is to follow mainstream Islam, based on the revered Hadeeth (prophetic saying) that defines Islam (devotion to The Almighty), Imaan (faith) and Ehsan (excellence in conduct). We strive for the pleasure of Allah (God), love for the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and the spiritual unity of the Muslim Ummah (Global Community), starting at the grass root level. MNH offers a comprehensive range of religious and social programs and services besides a well established D'awah (community outreach) program in partnership with PICNA - Peace and Integration Council of North America to convey the beautiful message of Islam. Finally, MNH is embarking on an ambitious project to build a multipurpose Community Building, meaningfully named as the 'Dream Project' that would include a D'awah Center, an Islamic School, a Hifz School, a large enough Masjid Hall that can be used as a Banquet/Events Hall as well as a Gym.
