Islamic Center of East Madison

The Islamic Center of East Madison is a place for worship (masjid), Islamic learning, religious events and gathering for the community which includes the daily prayers (Salah), Friday Sermon and Prayers (Jum’ah Khutbah and Salah), Taraweeh Prayers in Ramadan, and weekend classes. The goal of the organization is to understand and apply the peaceful religion ‘Islam’ in our daily life, on the basis of the Qur’an (the holy book) and Sunnah, the life of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him) and also share the knowledge of Islam to the growing community. Islam is a growing religion in the world, and we are here to help the community (Muslims, new Muslims, or non-Muslims) in every possible way to understand Islam. It is a religion which has a solution for every aspect of life, for any individual or family. We have different classes, for all ages, to learn about Islam, literature available in the masjid and resources on our website, and 1-and-1 counseling. We also conduct Islamic workshops and have been invited to church groups, business groups, schools, community gatherings, state offices, prisons, and more to share the knowledge of Islam. ICEM is involved in various community charity events like food drive, fundraising during the times of natural calamities, and other humanitarian causes in and around Madison area and aboard.
